We survey the existing conditions, inventory building, mechanical, electrical conditions and requirements. We will assist in developing your personal "wish list" and define project goals and budget requirements.

At Masterwork Kitchens, we begin all projects by establishing clear budget cost guidelines. With over twenty years remodeling and building experience, we can help you form a comprehensive budget plan, covering all phases of your project, not just cabinetry and countertops. We identify specific costs (in writing), prioritize needs and detail specifications thoroughly up front in order to avoid any "hidden" costs from creeping up during the project. We know what it takes to do it right and our fiscal planning helps guarantee that you, "Get what you pay for."

Within two weeks, we'll be back to you to arrange an appointment in our showroom and review your concept plan. Initially, we provide a scaled, colored floor plan, often supplemented with a perspective drawing.

  Our goal, in this design phase, is to illustrate conceptually, the overall plan, equipment placement and traffic flow. We utilize our talented, experienced staff and the latest in technology to help you visualize and comprehend our design concept for your project

  Your comfort and enthusiasm with our plan, our process and our estimate, are the essential elements in achieving the commitment phase of your project. Your approval, authorization and financial commitment are required at this point, to proceed to the next level of design.

  Once you've approved the concept, we move into the detail and specification stage. This involves developing elevation drawings that accurately depict your styling selections and enables us to review and establish locations for interior storage aids develop molding specifications and accouterment details as well as determine all finish requirements. Utilizing our extraordinary facility and our extensive sample collection, we spend whatever time it takes to help you get comfortable with your selections. It is not uncommon for our project responsibilities to include specifying and supervising the installation of the windows, doors, appliances, mechanical, electrical, lighting and construction details. This ensures a smooth running project, with well-coordinated deliveries, construction schedules and project completion dates. We take this proactive position to ensure your satisfaction through the entire construction preparation process.

  Your project designer will stop by during construction and installation to insure your satisfaction and comfort with our progress and workmanship. At the completion stage, we will develop a final punch list to eliminate any "loose ends" from lingering too long. Every Masterwork installation includes a follow up visit one-year later, to ensure our products and installations are still performing well. We will make adjustments, or do some fine tuning (no charge), because no Masterwork project is ever finished, unless you are totally satisfied, even after your project is complete.
